EU Screen
The EUscreen portal offers free online access to thousands of items of audiovisual heritage. It brings together clips which provide an insight into the social, cultural, political and economic events that have shaped the 20th and 21st centuries. While chronicling important historical events, the EUscreen allows users to explore television programmes that focus on everyday experience. The main objective of the project is to aggregate a comprehensive amount of professional audiovisual content. A large number of clips and programmes have been selected by broadcasters and archives from all across Europe. EU Screen is also intended to be a resource for educators, researchers and media professionals searching for new audiovisual content from across Europe. This site is extremely helpful in engaging people with audiovisual heritage content and in facilitating the use of videos, photos, audio and images. The EU Screen XL project continues this work by further developing My EU Screen. |
