"All human rights are universal, indivisible and interdependent". This is the essential basic concept of the declaration of the UN World Conference (Vienna, 1993). The knowledge that all people are equally entitled to rights and fundamental freedoms, and the willingness to recognize and defend this, are essential prerequisites for the realization of human rights. This site is very helpful for teachers when preparing a discussion on human rights. Special attention is given to women’s and girls’ rights, as well as to children’s rights |
